Wellington J. Denahan is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Annaly. Ms. Denahan is a founder of Annaly and FIDAC. Prior to joining Annaly and FIDAC, Ms. Denahan was Vice President at Citadel Funding Corporation, and worked on the mortgage-backed securities desk at Wertheim Schroder and Co., Inc. She has a BA from Florida State University. She currently chairs the MREIT council at NAREIT.
